She #1

She struggled to come awake, to open her eyes, to fight those shadows pulling her down.  Ugh, how she hated these ones where it felt as if she was walking with a ton of weights, gluing her down. And in slow motion, as well. Oh she struggled to come awake, she fought the horror, that feeling that someone was there, behind her, while her feet were mired, bogged down in quicksand. And, oh man, how she hated the fact that each time she believed she had reached her goal, had come awake, turned on the light, she realized that it was not so and she was still goddamn sleeping!  and oh wake up you idiot, shake your head, lift your hand, turn that damn light ON! Oh, and finally she did it, numb hand touching light switch, click- it came on! Finally finally awake!

Only to see foreign eyes looking down at her, mouth trapped shut by an unknown hand. And oh fuck, this time she wanted to believe that her struggle for consciousness was not yet complete.
